A recent WordPress vulnerability allows hackers to basically download* the entire site.

Here’s why that matters to you: Your small business website probably runs on WordPress.

Your website has contact forms, phone numbers listed, etc. Maybe a blog like ours.

Can you imagine what happens if a hacker changed that? What if an attacker got into your email AND changed your contact info on your website to redirect to them? Can you think of anything bad that could happen?

We recently sent all of our clients our contact information via email, and via newsletter. I can’t guarantee that none of them wouldn’t Google us to get our number, but we took steps to mitigate the risk.

What can you do today?

*After it is downloaded the Bad Guys can find a way in. This is quite literally their job.
